A Few Tea Facts:

Tea is the second most consumed beverage in the world (just after water)!

Traditional teas (black, oolong, green, white, and pu' erh) all come from the Camellia sinensis plant. It is the processing that affects the flavor, color, and antioxidant profile of each variety.

Ceylon tea is black tea that comes from the region of Sri Lanka.

Herbal teas can be made from drying various herbs, spices, flowers, fruits, seeds, roots, or leaves of other plants.

Kombucha is fermented black tea.

Traditional teas have been shown to have health benefits because they contain various polyphenols (which are compounds from plants that have antioxidant properties). 🤓

Tea Brewing Tips:
☕ Black, Pu' Erh, and Herbal Teas
• Boil Water: Use fully boiled water (around 200–212°F).
• Steep for 3–5 minutes (or what is recommended on the package)
🍃 Green, Oolong, and White Teas
• Steam Water: Heat water to 160–180°F (just before boiling).
• Steep for 2–3 minutes for a delicate, smooth taste.
Tip: Use fresh, filtered water for the best brew!
